DOB 4/18/2023 MDGA/TMGR Dual Registered F4 American Polled and Moonspotted! This little doeling is the culmination of a 4 year plan we have been working towards to cross Chrysanthemum and Penelope's lines. We bred Apollo (Penelope's grandson) to Chrysanthemum to get this litter and she and her twin brother are the prettiest babies we have ever had on our farm. She freshened with twin bucklings this year as a yearling first freshener. She very likely would have been able to get her milk star with a peak of around 6.5 lb of milk a day, but we were disorganized. Berry has that wonderful dairy skin and super soft like butter udder. She is a dream to milk and milks down very nicely by hand and by machine. There is a lot to love about Berry, and we are trying to patiently wait through the awkward yearling phases to see how she finishes growing. Her Dam Chrysanthemum is a finished champion through MDGA and has had multiple Grand and reserve wins through MDGA v-show, although she has not achieved her permanent VGCH yet.
