Farm
Tippsy Hills PB Chrysanthemum Pearl
+ Grace Abounds GT Hiram King of Tyre *B Estimated due date of Feb 15th 2020. Babies will be F3 American. We bred these two last year and got a super handsome polled, roaned buckling, but since I was really hoping for a doeling, he got wethered and sold to a pet home. We are trying again for a doeling and will retain first pick doeling from this pairing, if we get one. Any other kids will be available for sale. Update: Chrissy had twin boy and girl. Girl retained, boy sold. |
BCF Legacy’s Better All The Time 2*P
+ Grace Abounds GT Hiram King of Tyre *B Estimated due date May 1st 2020. Betty threw a monkey wrench into things this year when she absolutely refused our choice of buck to be bred with. But every heat cycle so far Betty has nearly killed herself trying to get to Tigger, our big stinky buck. So this time she won. She was happily bred with Tigger We will retain a doeling from Betty. Betty was new to our farm this year, and we were so excited to add her. Betty brings amazing production and a beautiful top line to our herd. Tigger brings great udder attachments and polled and moonspotted genetics. Can't wait to see what we get! Update: Betty freshened with one beautiful polled, moonspotted buckling. He is reserved. |
Dandelion Meadows Penelope Rose
+ Soaring Hearts Quil Ateara V *B Estimated due date March 12th 2020 Babies will be F2 Experimental. Last year Penelope was a yearling FF and she had a beautiful stocky little buckling singleton. When we got Quil, we knew he was the perfect match for Penelope. We are hoping to bring size down, improve fore-udder extension, and improve top line. Update: Penelope had QUADRUPLET BUCKLINGS!! 2 are sold, 2 have a deposit for reserve. |
Maple is a real sweetie and super easy to milk. She is my "pet goat". She has a nice high Eustachian, excellent production for a yearling first freshener, and has wonderful breed character. This year she might be carrying blue eyed babies due to her successful pairing with Embry.
He should bring size down and improve hind leg set. Of all my goats, Maple is the most laid back and of all my bucks, Embry is also the most laid back, so this pairing should produce beautiful temperament in the babies! Add in the milk production, breed character, and blue eyes, these babies will be just fabulous! Update: Maple had twin bucklings. Both are reserved. |
