Delphinium is a beautiful black roan out of Chrysanthemum and Tigger.  She is exactly what I wanted out of this breeding.  Currently the only yearling doe in our barn, she is super curious and friendly.  We are excited to retain Delphi with her mama's beautiful udder genetics and improved teat size and shape. She milks down beautifully and her fore-udder is showing a lot of promise.  Her dam carries her permanent GCH, as well as many other show wins, has her milk star, was in the 2020 MDGA top 10 1-day milk test for breed, and has turned into a powerhouse milker in my barn.  Delphinium does have airplane ears but they are so silly and expressive. She really is just darling. She is still growing through that awkward yearling phase, but I can already see what a lovely doe she is going to end up. Dam, dam's dam, and sire's dam all have milk stars, so this girl has plenty of milk behind her! I can't wait to see what she does with her second freshening!
