Maple is calm, and loves nothing more than a scratch and cuddle. She is long and elegant. She inherited her mother's long elegant neck and head, and those EARS!!  Her lateral attachments are better than both her mother's and her sister's.  Her first year she peaked at just over 5lb a day lactation, and was still giving us a quart a day when we finally dried her off.  This year as a second freshener, she just gave me 8.2lb with 4.3% milk fat on a 24 hr test, at 31 days fresh, which earned her a milk star! She is also super easy to milk and has good milk stand manners.  Maple is a love! 
Maple gave us twin doelings in 2021, and we retained her daughter Daphne. Maple went to a lovely home about an hour away where she is truly appreciated for the darling she is.
